WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN BEST CARE COMES TO YOUR HOME
When you call Best Care, you can expect thorough assessments, no-upsell estimates, and five-star service. From the moment we pick up the phone until your service is complete, you’ll see why Best Care is in our name.
Service Call Windows, Timing, & Cost
If you’re facing an emergency, we can usually accommodate same-day air conditioning repairs and plumbing fixes. Repairs generally take about 2 hours to complete, depending on the issue type and severity.
For new installations, we can typically install one new system in a day, but for homes with multiple systems, a multi-day project is often necessary. We’ll factor in how long it takes to get the right equipment into our scheduling estimate.
We provide transparent estimates after a detailed examination of your issue and the systems that affect it. We don’t do flat-rate claims or estimates without looking at your system first.
Before Your Technician Arrives
30-45 minutes before your appointment, a dispatcher will call to let you know your HVAC technician or plumber is on the way. We’ll also send you a text message with the tech’s image and a bio, so you feel comfortable knowing who’s entering your home.
During the Visit
- Examine — The Best Care technician performs a thorough check to identify the issue
- Evaluate — We perform a whole-home system check because all systems work together. With an AC unit check comes a furnace evaluation, and drain clogs require a look at sewer lines.
- Discuss — We’ll sit down, present a summary of what we noticed during the checks, and present our recommendations with multiple options.
- Decide — We leave the decision up to the homeowner. We want you to choose the solution that works best for you, and we’ll never start work without your consent.
- Resolve — Once we get the green light, we’ll complete the repair or installation properly and without delay.
- Cleanup — Our technicians wear shoe covers when in your home, and after their work is done, they’ll clean up the area so it’s just like they found it.
After Your Service
Our goal is a 5-star experience. If anything doesn’t feel resolved, reach back out, and we’ll make it right.
FAQs About Best Care Services
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Best Care offer same-day appointments?
Same-day AC repair and plumbing fixes depend on our current capacity and the type of call. We prioritize no-cooling and no-heat emergencies, which means we may occasionally reschedule routine maintenance visits to make room. Call our team, and we’ll give you a straight answer on whether same-day service is available for your specific situation.
How long does a typical service call take?
Most service calls are scheduled in 2-hour arrival windows, though the actual visit length depends on what we notice. Installations are different: single-system jobs are often completed in a day, while multi-system installs can take longer depending on equipment availability.
How much does an HVAC or plumbing service call cost?
The cost depends on the issue, the parts needed, and the time it will take to resolve. We never provide an estimate without thoroughly examining the system first. We’ll also always present you with multiple options before work begins, so you can choose the one that works best for your home and budget.
What happens during a Best Care service visit?
Our technicians follow a consistent process on every call. They’ll examine what’s going on, evaluate how it connects to the rest of your home’s systems, discuss what they noticed, present you with options, let you decide what works best, resolve the issue, and follow up to make sure you’re satisfied. You’re in control of every decision along the way.
Does the technician clean up before leaving?
Our technicians wear shoe covers in your home, and they leave your space as clean as they found it.
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
Make sure the technician will have clear access to the equipment being serviced, especially if it’s in an attic, closet, or outdoors. You should also have any relevant history handy, like recent repairs or the age of your system, so we can quickly evaluate the full picture.
